Κυρίες, κύριοι, Δια του παρόντος επαναφέρω προηγούμενη πρόταση μου, για δημιουργία φορέα νεολαίας ή άλλως πως ονομαστεί. Σκοπός του φορέα αυτού θα είναι, η μελέτη των προβλημάτων και των ανησυχιών των νέων καθώς και των ενδιαφερόντων αυτών, με στόχο την διαμόρφωση πολιτικής για τους νέους από μέρους του Δήμου. Για να γίνει αυτό χρειάζεται μόνο η θέληση. Σε πρώτο στάδιο θα προσκληθούν όλοι οι νέοι και νέες της Δερύνειας ηλικίας 15-25 ετών, οι οποίοι θα λάβουν μέρος σε ιδρυτική συνέλευση. Όσοι θα παρευρεθούν, θα εγγραφούν ως μέλη και μετά από ονομαστική πρόσκληση θα λαμβάνουν μέρος στις τακτικές συγκεντρώσεις. Σε κατοπινό σύντομο χρονικό διάστημα και αφού φανεί ότι οι νέοι εργάζονται σαν ομάδα, θα γίνουν εκλογές για ανάδειξη επιτροπής του φορέα αυτού. Ταυτόχρονα, θα έχουμε συνεχή επαφή με τον Οργανισμό Νεολαίας, όπου με την καθοδήγηση...

As I mentioned in my first presentation, the local authorities in Cyprus do not have the resources or the means to provide practical forms of solidarity other than moral support and in exceptional cases of small-scale financial support and food to our dispersed fellow citizens. During the pandemic, all support programs for young people and citizens in general came directly from the state itself. Some forms of support were as follows: Various plans such as the following were implemented during the Covid-19 Pandemic: ·         Unemployment support plan. ·         Self-employed support plan. ·         Business support plan. The Municipality of Deryneia is a community of about 7000 inhabitants and is geographically located on the east coast of Cyprus and about 5 km south of the center of the Turkish-occupied city of Famagusta.   Μια εισήγηση μεταξύ καφέ και κουβέντας για το εγγύς μέλλον. Επιτροπή Αλληλοκατανόησης των Δημοτών του νεοσύστατου Δήμου Παραλιμνίου Δερύνειας. Χθες το απόγευμα, βρέθηκα τυχαία σε μια καφετέρια όπου σε στενό κύκλο κάποιος Υποψήφιος Δήμαρχος παρουσίαζε το όραμα του σε φίλους και γνωστούς του. Από σεβασμό παρακολούθησα τη συζήτηση και αφού μίλησαν όλοι, ζήτησα τον λόγο και απευθυνόμενος στον υποψήφιο δήμαρχο είπα περίπου τα εξής: Πρωταρχικό μέλημα όλων θα πρέπει να είναι η επιτυχής εφαρμογή της Μεταρρύθμισης της Τοπικής Αυτοδιοίκησης και η Ομαλή Λειτουργία του νεοσύστατου Δήμου Παραλιμνίου – Δερύνειας. Για να γίνει όμως αυτό, θα χρειαστεί η αρμονική συνεργασία και η εμπλοκή όλων των Δημοτών των τεσσάρων Δημοτικών Διαμερισμάτων που θα αποτελέσουν τον νέο Δήμο. Όπως είναι σε όλους γνωστό, η κάθε κοινότητα έχει τις ιδιαιτερότητες της αλλά και οι ίδιοι οι κάτοικοι έχουν τις δικές τους ιδιαιτερότητες και ευαισθησίες, όπως έχουν και τη δική τους διαφορετική νοοτροπία και κουλτού...
